If you could attach a photo of the entry itself, that would help the discussion

I don't know that there is anything you can do in terms of the construction of the home. At night I would have it lit and I'm sure it would look really pretty. I would put up a half metal decorative gate to give it an entry point and not make it look like a black hole.

Turn on the porch lights and leave them on using a bulb using an led bulb. I'd at least try that before rushing to paint the stone/brick/walls.

Not the best photo, but...have the frame of the entry trimmed out. I can’t tell the color of your door, but dark colors recede. Go light and bright on the front door.

I'd lighten up the stone on the inside with a creamish wash, and if you have a light inside the porch keep it on - if there is no light add one.

I would keep an energy efficient porch light on.

I don't think you need to brighten up. I think you need to detail it up! I don't see any outdoor lighting- might there currently be some white fixture next to the garage door? You need statement lighting. At the entry consider either something hanging down from the peak or two good size lanterns flanking the opening. It looks like you got some small bush that goes all the way across the front including next to the entry? Change that out. Boring with it all being all the same. And rather than some bushes next to the entry put a colorful tall (statement size) pot on each side with colorful flowers. Think details, details...even little ones.. even shutters on those windows could be an interesting detail if you have the right shutter. Right now that entry looks like a black hole because there is nothing to draw the eye away from it.
