Thanks everyone for so many great ideas. I really appreciate the time you all took to help me. I went with a nice Pottery Barn green (Grecian). Some of the green paints looked yellow on the walls when I tested them, and I did buy many, many different paint colors. I don't know what I am going to do with all the leftover paint samples! A nice red would have worked beautifully (even on just an accent wall). As the house is going to be put on the market soon, I decided to stay with a neutral color.

Mountie, the vanity cabinets are custom. They are maple. I believe we ended up with a SW stain called cherry. Sheeisback, the marble is from Floor and Decor (not sure if you have that in your area). It is supposed to be a Calacatta Gold, but a lot of it looks like Carrera. Thanks, all!

We are currently remodeling our kitchen. Installing bright white shaker cabinets, and chose Silestone Calacatta Gold. I think I looked at every quartz option out there...I was driving myself crazy. I didn't wan't anything too bold, or too busy, or too dark. I like that it reads more "white" from a distance, and you notice the lighter veining once closer. We will be using a light gray matte finish back splash tile, champagne bronze pulls, and lighter wood look vinyl plank flooring. Still nervous about how it will all look once completed, since we're piecing it all together...but we'll see soon!

I don't like ceilings the same colors as the wall. My dad used to do that, and as a kid I remember feeling like I was in a big box. I paint the ceiling lighter than the walls, sometimes just a shade or two lighter. Doesn't have to be white, just lighter, but exactly what depends on what color wall you choose.
