Powder Room Lighting--Help!

Karen Daks

Concerned about having enough lighting for my powder room. Going for a jewel box affect, but don't want the room to be too dark. Wallpaper is a sort of darker wedgewood blue with a light pattern of silver and gold. As powder rooms go it is on the medium side, not very small. Planning vertical 30x40 inch framed mirror with sconces on either side. These will need to be single bulb because I do not have enough wall space for two bulb fixtures. The sconces that I am considering all take 60 watt bulbs. I am replacing the ventilation fan light. ( Don't know what the wattage should be--help!) The PR is an uneven shape, not exactly rectangular. The vanity wall is 53 inches, the vanity counter is 46 inches, the widest part of the PR is 6ft, and the deepest area is from the vanity wall across to the toilet at 7 ft. Need some guidance on the lighting. Concerned that the sconces and ventilation fan light will not be enough light. Plan to have sconces on separate switch from the ventilation fan.

Thanks for any help you can provide. If possible need info ASAP.
