Please help with lighting and mirror for this tiny powder room
Comments (5)Allison - the detail on your mirror is just gorgeous! I'd like to find something similar, but perhaps in an oval shape, given the angles of the vanity. I very much like your sconces also. Thanks so much for posting pics. It helps me visualize my space much better. Thank you, brutuses. This little vanity was purchased on ebay and shipped to me last February! It's been sitting in a crate for most of the year waiting for my much delayed remodel. Was it you who was also converting an antique dresser into a bath vanity? If so, I remember your picture and it was just what I wanted, but unfortunately that style was too big for my space....See Moreneed help choosing powder room lighting
Comments (6)hi all, i put together a pic of all of my working elements. PLease let me know what you would change. i am just not sure if it looks right. i want to find a balance so that my powder room can feel contemporary and not too ethnic or traditional mediterranean.. thank you for any advice! i just picked a random mirror to put in the pic. not sure it works.. what lights would you think go with this? something like this? or would this be too much? or should i make only the lights mediterranean and do a simpler tile like white subway? or go with simpler lights and stick with the arabesque tile? simpler styled lights like this?...See Moreneed help w Lighting for Powder Room
Comments (20)Oh I'm so glad you appreciated the site! With the 10' ceilings, it could look amazing. I DO think of these as pieces of art. Unfortunately, saddled with 8' ceilings as I am, I haven't been able to fit this in...except in my wood burning stove room (hmmm.. maybe?). Please do post with pricing info once you receive. I may have requested and forgotten (as I tend to with unpleasant things). Anyway, absolutely love your wallpaper and color scheme. I guess I haven't been following. Is this a new build for you? How very exciting! If you have links to a blog or other posts with more details, I'd love to read more. Many of your choices just resonate with me....See Morelooking for help with type mirror and lighting for this powder room
Comments (5)you could do lots of types. personally I would do something w/sconces since you only have the one sink. or just do a full size mirror (a little bit smaller than the vanity length) or round again, something w/lights. that wall is awfully bare. what else are you doing on it? anything above the toilet? wallpaper, art, sconces,,,,...See Moresuzanne_m
