I'm a sucker for antique quilt tops!

As some of you know already, I can't pass by an old quilt top a family has abandoned which was made by hand by one of their ancestors. I've even told off one lady at a garage sale. So, I adopt them.

This one jumped out at me yesterday at a thrift shop saying "please take me home and love me!" It cost $8.

It's a Lonestar all made by hand and from the fabric, over 100 years old. It has a couple of seams needing repair but is in pretty good shape overall. One spot is faded as if it were the top of the folded bundle as it sat on a shelf. It's 7' square.

I'm determined to resurrect it.
