Creating a shared folder

last modified: 8 years ago

I used to be able to do this easily, that is select a folder and share it publicly (I think that was with Windows XP). Now, when I try do do it with Windows 7, I need to choose Nobody, Homegroup, or specific person. I recently purchased a BlueSound Pulse speaker, for streaming music, etc. from the internet. It has the capability to connect with a shared folder on my PC, but I can't seem to get that to work. All my music is on an iTunes folder. Also, I just got a TV with a network connection and it sees my home computer, but cannot open any thing on it. This may or may not be related.
