Oh thanks Kudzu9, but you don't need to bump this unless it is happening to others and you want an answer. My post eventually got posted. It was weird though, my post wouldn't show up for a long time, like over 10 minutes. I kept trying to post it, and it would keep disappearing. I don't know why, so I posted this thread to ask if anyone knew what was going on. Its not an issue now, but it has happened before to me and it is strange.

OK, that last word should be deal! I still can't imagine why the Garden Web rejected my original thread. There must be some simple word that can be twisted, but I'm baffled by it. The recliners are great and we were getting them anyway, so we are not really out anything. I can't believe we fell for this! I thought we were smarter then that. The Furniture store has been a top furniture store in our town for many decades. I'm going to go out there and see what they have to say about it. I checked with "Truth or Fiction" and they have many entries, but I found nothing that actually said it is a scam, just questions. Because we did't get this DEAL on the internet, I didn't think of checking it on here.

We're nearly twins, jerzee! My vanity was supposed to be a warm mid-brown and it turned out darker, more mahogany-looking than I'd planned. Counter is also Cararra. My walls are SW Antique White, sort of french vanilla, and floors are a mid gray tile. Initially I thought the walls were too warm for the grays and chrome, but I like gray and cream together and I'm leaving it all as is. I had stressed over matching or mixing the metals and, in the end, have mostly chrome except for a bit of satin nickel. Nobody notices or cares. I hope you like the original finish on the mirror. A lot depends on how it works in your space. I have plenty of natural light in my bathroom. If you decide to go more silver, I can share what I did, plus what I did at first and what you should avoid doing. :)

My photos suddenly didn't show up the other day. I have an IE browser. My computer son downloaded (I hope that is the right word) the Chrome browser to my computer. When I want to post pics, I can switch over to the Chrome browser, and everything works fine. In the meantime, I (like you) posted my problem on the Rose Gallery, and someone (was that you Patty?) told me to use the HOUZZ PHOTO button at the bottom of the box rather than the PHOTO button. I tried that with my usual IE browser and it worked. Then I got an answer back from the GW tech support who told me to try clearing history and cache, and then reopening the browser. I confess--I haven't done that because my computer son said it won't make any difference. Finally, Tamara posted an explanation on the Rose forum (which I copied on the Rose Gallery post) which explained that IE is being slowly phased by Windows which is coming out with a new browser called Edge--so there won't be much updating with our IE browsers any more--which might mean a number of functions might eventually not work well on IE. However, if you get Windows 10 which is coming out shortly, you will have the new browser. (I hope I phrased all those statements correctly. I'm not a computer person.) So there you have several solutions to the pic posting problem. I'm using the HOUZZ PHOTO button or the Chrome browser. Either works fine at the moment. Hope that helps. Kate
