natural wood windows with white trim
Comments (1)Opinions will vary, but we think the combination of pure-white trim encasing/framing natural wood windows or doors is an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This fine look is also enhanced with wood species that offer rich colors (D. fir, mahogany, walnut) or unique grain patterns (cherry, hickory, oak). This combination of contrasting finishes can be done in some of the following ways, and we think they all look great. 1. Painted interior casing with natural wood window or door frames and sashes or door panels(as noted above). 2. Painted interior casing and window or door frames, with natural wood sashes or door panels. 3. Natural interior casing with painted window or door frames and sashes or door panels....See Morewhite or wood Windows? white or stained window trim?
Comments (3)I would leave the windows and trim. You might consider painting the walls to a more neutral warm white....See MorePaint woodwork/windows white, leave cornices and wooden blinds?
Comments (2)IMO the cornice needs to be white but I hate wood blinds so I am not about to say anything about them...See MoreDark trim vs. White. Updating home without painting ALL TRIM white??
Comments (20)* Also when looking at the hallway ^... that photo of the "door" to the right is actually an elevator door...(Its faux painted...done before we moved here.) That is also the dilemma... if husband paints trim white... there is that door and I do NOT want to paint it white. so can the trim around the door be painted?...See MoreKim C
