Hmmm... I like your color scheme idea, but it could be fun to add a couple easy pops of color, maybe a bright throw pillow and vase?

Unfortunately, I doubt you have room for the dining table and desk. You could probably squeeze in a desk if you really wanted to, but not a dining table, unless you're thinking of a small dining table for two people. However, you said you're minimalists, and I think the room would look very crowded that way, which you probably wouldn't end up liking.

For living room furniture placement, place your tv on the one wall that isn't windows, then place your couch facing it. You can place chairs on the other wall of windows, and parallel to those chairs (sorry if this is confusing).

I think you'll be able to keep the views just fine, I don't think there will be a major problem with the windows being blocked. As for the pillars, just work around them, incorporating them will just look awkward.

In regards of the furniture you already own, I think that you can definitely use every piece in your apartment, except for maybe the tv stand, and not the first linked light. The light is much too big for the room, and will block your windows. Is it possible for you to get your tv mounted? If not, maybe a less dark tv stand would look better, but yours is good, too.

I feel the nesting tables are a bit too dark, but that's just me. I love the tv stand and couch, the bar stools are perfect, and if you do end up doing the dining table, I like the set. The dresser for the bedroom is also nice.

If you are minimalists in terms of disliking clutter, I would probably do a wall unit of some kind that incorporates a desk with hidden storage so you don't have to look at the inevitable objects required for even minimal living. It doesn't look as though you have vast quantities of storage in the apartment. I keep almost everything stored digitally but when designing my office/den wall unit, I still wanted a place to hide the printer; computer supplies; those few documents which need to be kept etc.

yes, i would do more blues, and have a different pop of color. on the pillars? you can paint in a blue with glaze or mirror the sides that face out. you could also hang narrow art. how about blue with mirrors arranged as art.

I do not believe you will find that rug very comfortable.
