Paint for north facing room? (Beige carpet, cherry red cabinets)

We just bought a house with a beautiful open floor layout between the living room, kitchen, and dining area, but can't find the right paint color since it's north and east facing. Any suggestions? Revere pewter, agreeable gray, requisite gray, and worldly gray all pulled too icy of blues, classic gray and accessible beige pulled too white, and balanced beige pulled too taupe! Right now the walls are a golden tan (builder beige) color, with light beige carpet, cherry red kitchen cabinets, and travertine/beige/brown back splash. We're looking to lighten up the space away from the golden tans and beiges, but feel stuck!

Also - we have two burgundy/maroon leather couches, and a glass coffee table, so I'd like to stay away from any color that will clash with the couches.
