Opinions:Which Mango tree from 6 pics?
Comments (25)Thanks Sapote, actually I used these 300-500 watts work lights and if I hadn't I probably wouldn't have any mango trees left at all...it generated enough heat to at least keep the roots from freezing :o( The fact that we had 23 degrees was what was the biggest factor. Normally, we see around 28 degrees but it was much, much colder...a very rare (thank goodness). The lights I used would have been sufficient enough had we not had the 23-25 degrees for days and hours on end... The heater fan to be perfectly honest scares me, lol...I have this OCD that it might cause "fire" and burn the frost cloth and the trees,lol...I thought the lights were the lesser of two evils... I do appreciate your suggestions though...thanks! Here's the lights I used...I also used the old fashioned C-7/C-9... a couple strings of those and you can have appx. 250-350 watts. I also wrapped the trunks with Carpet Foam and this helped save the graft as well......See MoreNewbie Needs Help--Which Do you Like Better?
Comments (18)As a jumping off point I say 3. If you feel that you are eveloping and learning about your style then you have a good jumping off point to let it evolve and create over time. Maybe put that fruit basket on the DR table to help 'disperse' the matchy-matchiness of it. Heck - when I started decorating I would have bought a package deal in a heartbeat. I guess for some people we need to have 'something' in the beginning to get a handle or grasp on who we are when it comes to decorating and then we learn and begin to feel comfortable w/ our decisions and waiting w/ 'nothing there' until we know that just the right thing has come along. And then there are those folks who really like decorating but prefer 'a package deal' for whatever reason.n Nothing wrong w/ those folks either - I just ask that they really think and put thought into getting a package that speaks to them....See MoreWhich option do you like best?
Comments (22)So what's the small base between DW and LS? I have small appliances in my super susan. I don't have a Kitchenaid mixer, though - the top of my mixer comes off the base, so it fits in a smaller height. Do you use your mixer a lot? Could it go in a pantry cab? One of the best things you can do before you order cabinets is figure out where you will put things, and what will fit where. Drawers are definitely more efficient than cabinets for most things, as long as they are the right size. Things like potholders and utensils near the stove; pots and pans near the stove; dishes near the DW. Having the DW on the adjacent run is not the end of the world - I had it that way in my old kitchen, and it's that way in my new kitchen. I considered every option possible - and putting the DW next to the sink meant sacrificing storage elsewhere. I don't pre-wash my dishes, so most things go directly from the table to the DW, without dripping. Even if there were a few water drips from sink to DW, it wouldn't be a big deal - my flooring can handle a little water....See MoreHardwoods on main floor. Comments (7)I'm glad you like it. It's a laminate, so from what I understand it does not hold up to moisture the way vinyl would... But I am not an expert - I'm sure google and the Pros on here could help you better than I could. And judging from a quick google, it seems to be priced anywhere from $1.99-$2.99 a square foot. Good luck!...See MoreHU-785598401
