Comments (10)Yes, the ragweeds bloom at the same time as the goldenrods, but have nondescript, barely visible, green flowers that produce TONS of highly allergenic wind-dispersed pollen, while the more prominent, yellow-flowered, sticky pollen goldenrods get all the blame. Comments (26)It was. We were also lucky that there wasn't much else in the yard-- so we had some good building blocks AND a clean slate at the same time. The perfect place to land for someone with a Japanese maple obsession. ;) I'm now thinking #2 isn't Paul's Glory, but Old Glory. The blue edges don't stand out as much on mine, at any time of year, as they seem to in Paul's Glory photos here in the forum. The margins on mine also seem thinner than the ones on Paul's Glory. When I look at Old Glory, it seems more familiar. They're all so similar to an untrained eye-- it's maddening and fascinating at the same time....See MoreI have had this hosta for years! Comments (33)And like I said, I never really cared what was 'correct'. I did learn about the 'bloom' and 2-3 days after roasting, rest and off-gassing...5-7 days again still prime. I've not visited any coffee forums since we figured out what we wanted. I did learn a lot ! But not interested in much other details. in fact, we don't care much for expresso. Once we found our good method pour-over, that suits us so much better than fussing with more machines. We are good. I switch to cold brew matcha/green tea by 9 am...fresh ginger/lemon. (we are getting old)...but suits us. Playing a bit finds the sweet spot. May change, but for now its good....See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
