Comments (22)Dolly, thank you! I used the automatic (IA) setting on my new camera, the Panasonic Lumix FZ300. I'm a big fan of their FZ line. But the secret to this photo is this artists' watercolor spray bottle. It produces a spray so fine that every thread of the web is illuminated with no damage to it. Otherwise I probably would have had to focus manually, and even then the web wouldn't have stood out. If Rocky, my cat, hadn't rubbed on the base of the young tree and collapsed the web, I was going to use aperture priority to narrow the depth of field and blur out the background more. Rob, kale and spring greens are my cat Peachy's favorite treats. I toss pieces in the air, and she leaps for them. I don't think your cat is dumb at all!...See More

My uncle who celebrated his 100th birthday in March. He served his country in WW2. He has always been a kind and gentle soul. I adore him and love him immensely!!

I wish I could have gotten a better picture. Mother nature rolled out the red carpet for me. These are a dark pink not quite red crepe myrtles. The crepe petals lined the walkway.
8 years agoLate again, but this just happened. My husband called me, because there is a snake on the shelf in the garage.i was supposed to move a bowl of breakable things. He stood there with a stick and said he is going to hit her on the head if she bites me. Mind you, he was about 7 feet away. This morning I had to move a turtle out of the dog fence. He offered to open the gate for me. I think this picture is kind of funny. Real snake trying to get the fake bird from the fake snake?

My new favorite flower for the garden is angelonia. It's the mauve colored one. Next year I am going to get a number of them and really make a statement.
