Start by priming the gold walls with white or gray primer. The gold reflections will distort the colors of new paint samples. Then change the odd-looking light bulbs to whatever LEDs you are going to use. Paint a foamcore board with the Kilim Beige, then hold it up next to the countertops. The new paint needs to coordinate with the countertops, the flooring and the cabinets. One shade lighter than Kilim Beige on the same color card is worth a good long look. Since the countertops are beige, too, they are likely to be the driver here. Cara Lewis-Watt's pale greens can be sampled on the same foamcore board. Both the SW and BM "Sea Salt" colors are quite versatile. That'd get you out of having to identify the "perfect" off white/beige that goes well with everything else.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for-warmth without going yellow. I’m sure you’ve read about the northern light adding a chilling effect to the room. What’s the reason for not using BM? My contractor said they prefer BM but would be willing to use a different brand if we wanted to, and I am having a hard time selecting the main color in BM (I have tons of sample paint already). SW has paint consultants that charge you to come out and help select your paint colors and then reduce that charge when you buy the paint. I haven’t heard of that with BM so I am trying to hire a paint consultant to help me. Or hiring an SW consultant and just have them match the BM paint to an SW color. Paint is a big decision! I’m putting in a white oak flooring as well.

@Lori...any thoughts on what paint colors (preferably sw or bm paint) I might want to peek at that are very similar to Accessible Beige as I am picking up a very slight pinkish/purple-ish tone that isn't completely desirable... perhaps something a touch to the right toward yellow hue on the color wheel but a similar chroma and lrv??

There is a paint shortage and it is an issue for many areas, there are pockets where it is less of an issue. It’s also certain paints. As the OP pointed out she had to go up a level on paint quality. Last month I couldn’t get samples at SW, but took the card to The DIY store and they made it up for me. Because I was using a higher grade paint, I had no problem getting the gallons I needed. I however listened to those in the trade there getting their paint talk about the shortages and what they have had to do to get paint. Google for the headlines. It’s a raw materials issue, the big freeze in TX is part of the problem. For some areas that had a greater supply on hand and less demand haven’t had to turn away sales or up sell/downgrade, yet. We are buying paint both in FL and WI and my husband proclaimed there was no paint shortage in WI, I insisted he buy up the paint anyway and what do you know, 3 weeks after me telling him it was an issue he let me know they were out of the cashmere we buy. In all seriousness, this has been an issue since end of March/Early April for many areas. Plenty of news articles in the last 2 days. To the OP, if you have Nextdoor app maybe make a plea to see if anyone has the colors you are interested in and maybe they would give you a little bit of theirs? Worst case if HD is out of samples, bite the bullet for a quart and have them make it up for you from SW.
