Just discovered yellowish white substance in sansevieria soil! Help!

So I bought this sansevieria aka snake plant from Walmart a few months ago. I haven’t repotted it yet. Although I suppose I should now. I watered it recently and over the course of a few days... I noticed when the top soil was starting to look dry there were a few random spots that still looked wet. Or at least darker than the dry soil... today in those darker spots I found these white yellowish growths. One spot looks even fuzzy.... I’m assuming it’s some kind of fungus? Also, for awhile now the leaf in the middle is browning and crisping. Why? What should I do to make this plant healthy again?? Please help!!
