Thanks everyone! I had to open a Photobucket account. For some reason Snapfish wasn't working for me anymore. Yes, I do love my reds!! Even though you are so right Seil. Nearly impossible to get the shades of red to show up correctly. But for as much as I love my reds, I think Denali is taking the cake for me too right now. I'll take a few more pics this evening for you guys now that Denali is opening up. It's breathtaking! Thanks so much for all the encouraging words. And don't worry, I've got about 60 newbies this year. There will be PLENTY of pictures!!

Definitely add the lime - 1 tbsp or so. Without it, the 5-1-1 is too acidic. Don't fret, I made the same mistake with my first batch of 5-1-1, and then stirred it in. As for the oscomote, I always stir it into the mix. Next time I need to add it, I will just mix it into the top later. Once you patio is built, you can plant them in the ground and save yourself some trouble.

Alex, nice shots of Fiji....what a lovely tropical color it is. Your red one seems to be the same shape as a daylily called Ruby Throat but your image shows a yellow throat while Ruby Throat is definitely a green throat. It does however look a lot like the daylily Bridget but you probably will never know who it really is . That doesnt mean it isnt a lovely plant ..........it just means you can call it whatever you like in your own garden LOL !
