Red Viper is quite the show off. Dick gave this to Brianna last year and she absolutely loves it. Tall, well budded.

The color is more accurate on the single flower.

My highly debated noid or...There were several good suggestions of what it could be, but it seems too rounded to be any of them. Of course, it could be my climate and soil.

Thanks everyone. I'm far enough behind on posting that the asiatic lilies are just about done and the orientals are starting. SPRINGFIELD CLAN is a big impressive flower and a beautiful clear red color. It took a while to get going here, but has been worth the wait. JOAN DERIFIELD has been very impressive. Great bud count and good increase and I love the flower.

English Lavender is a beautiful daylily and has a good bud count, but it has been a slow increaser and I worried that I'd lost it after its first winter. It is a club plant so I'll be turning it in for auction at our club in August. I got in 2009 and it's now only 5 fans. It may well do better somewhere hotter, but I don't know. Enchanting Esmeralda is a fabulous plant. In addition to being gorgeous it has increased well and has a high bud count. Mildred Mitchell can have some amazing flowers,but it too has been a slow increaser--adds about 1 fan a year and a bud count of 9. Mantis--Elisa Dallas is short . It also has only increased by one fan in 2 years and has a bud count of 8. I'm really disappointed in it. Trimmer daylilies usually do much better than that for me Jean--I'm a big fan of Light Motif. Love the look and the performance has been good too.

I'll never forget a "parent coaching" class I was finally able to drag my Ex into. We were discussing how best to enforce limits with DS when he didn't want to comply, and Ex asking the counsellor "So when do we cave?" He could never quite grasp that making the kid work harder before the parents caved was actually making the problem worse! And that the obvious answer to that question was "You don't!" Part of the reason I appreciate StepMom so much. She, at least, has some parenting sense.

I like your purples--Stealth B and Strutter's Ball. The noid is a very nice lavender. The strongly recurved segments might help identify it. I see one picture of Blue Lake that looks a lot like it (pics of that cultivar vary a lot).

I love so many of your oldies. Some I have, many I do not. But you always post such pretty pictures of them. Stealth Bomber looks good in your garden. I like your noid, regardless of what it may be. It qualifies as a BBU (Beautiful But Unknown).

I complained again, and they requested information like as if they had never heard of any problem. I detailed it very clearly. I wanted to drip sarcasm, but refrained.

Really nice group! Milano Crimson Tide, Paige’s Piñata, Primal Scream, and Stealth Bomber are my top picks.

Really nice picture of South Seas. So many people praised it years ago that I got one and can't imagine being without it now. It's blooming as I type.....Paige's Pinata always gets me. Every time I see your name I try and remember it's name. One of these days I may find room for it. I do like it quite a bit.......I may have grown your yellow noid years ago. A friend claimed it and I reluctantly let it go. I'll try and find the name and check back with you......Maryl
