I'll never catch up but here's a start.....
Comments (10)Lovely, lovely, all so lovely. You have outstandingly beautiful daylilies, my head just swims at all the colors and forms. So, it's the usual, love them all, but I must mention the clump shot of Rocket City, that's a beaut! Cat Dancer will always be a winner to me. Ugly, ugly, ugly Japanese beetles, wish there were no such things to destroy all our plants. Your lilies are a treat to the eyes, our Scherezade was supposed to look like yours, but the lack of water kept it low. Conca d'Or is marvelous, and so are your clematis, two stunning photos. Sorry to hear your mother is worse, wish there were something like a cure just around the corner, but maybe some day. Always send best wishes to you and your family, and I'll be looking forward to your next post. Avedon...See MoreRain!! And some more catch up pictures
Comments (8)Nat, LIGHT OF THE WORLD has been a great plant so far. Last year was its first in the garden and it's doing great. FEMINIST BOOKSTORE has been a little disappointing. It's been doing fine and I love the flower, but for a Hanson plant the bud count and branching has been disappointing. Think I will have to move it and see how it does. Avedon, I love MT. ECHO SUNRISE. Saw it on a garden tour and knew I had to have it. Chris, PATTERNS IN TIME was a bonus plant several years ago and I ended up liking it better than anything I'd ordered....See MoreCatching up with some recent blooms
Comments (9)Yay it worked! Here are more blooms: RAINBOW MAKER - received as a bonus plant last fall. Scapes are much shorter than the registered height of 38” but the bloom is unlike anything I have in the garden. ROSE F KENNEDY - noticeable increase in bud count this year. HEARTBREAKER ALEX - only one scape with two buds HALLOWEEN TRICK - FFO VOILA FRANCOIS - pretty bloom GAGE’S FACEPAINT - only one scape with two buds SMOKY MOUNTAIN AUTUMN - beautiful bloom, looks good morning and evening. Combo shot of Earlybird Cardinal and Lullaby Baby Thanks for looking! Lori...See MoreCatching up with some blooms
Comments (10)This is Oklahoma Sand Burr X Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding. Last Man Standing X Cactus Blossom is a late bloomer. Merry Moppet X (Spacecoast Tiny Perfection X Forestlake Ragamuffin) is a small-flowered daylily. This is not a daylily, but I thought you might like to see Bob's banana in bloom. I believe it is Musa velutina, or the pink banana. That's all for me today. Nancy...See Moreorganic_kitten
