I can't tell for sure if the shingles are light or charcoal gray. Do you know? Personally I'd change the main color of the house instead. Blue is a complementary color the orange of the bricks, which looks great in my opinion. I think what would look better would be to change the main color to a soft buttery yellow. If the program I use could do transparent color I'd do a virtual for you. Maybe Super Squirrel will stop by and do that for you. As for the door I agree with graywings in that you need a more orangy red or maybe a reddish orange would be a better way to discribe it. Oh and paint the sidelights to match the rest of the siding in the buttery yellow.

If you make the other changes as suggested, I don't think you'll feel the need to paint the brick. There's no sense creating a maintenance issue where there is none now. The house has the potential to be very handsome. Some pretty pots with flowers on either side of your door will add some color as well. Don't forget that nothing looks pretty this time of year when trees are bare and lawns are brown.

I actually kind of like the cabinet color in the photo. Its a little hard to see the floors though. you could paint the shutters alabaster or chocolate brown to match the trim. Or you maybe could do a blue on the cabinetry as well if you dont like the color.

Yes, I agree, blue. Try this: SW Searching Blue or Luxe Blue body color. The Searching Blue is nice but looks washed out on my screen compared to the rich Luxe Blue. Use your color cards.
