Going from Restrained Gold to something lighter

Hi! We built our house 15 years ago. Cherry cabinets, dark granite, open floor plan, tall ceilings and Sherwin Williams Restrained Gold paint everywhere. We are getting ready to have the interior repainted and I am driving myself crazy.

Our house use is very dark and doesnt get much natural light. The only thing we are changing right now is the paint. We have dark wood floors in the living room and large gold/brownish floor tile everywhere else.

I really want to lighten everything up. I thought about going two shades lighter which is Ivoire, but it is too light and yellow. I would like a beige with a gold under tone to match everything else.

My top top choice is Whole Wheat but it is a little dark and I‘m worried about the green undertone.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We are also changing the trim color from Navajo White to Alabaster or Extra White. I need to use a SW color since I’ve already purchased the paint

Thank you!

Merrie
