Lights above kitchen peninsula

I would like to add more lights above our kitchen peninsula. I originally wanted to add some pendants, but now I’d prefer something low profile that doesn’t interrupt sight lines. I was thinking cable or track lights, but am not sure which fixtures would blend in (i want a light that doesn’t stand out). We can get power to the new lights from the space above the cabinets on the left.

A couple things I’m sure will get noticed even though they are off topic

1. The can lights are too far away from the counter lines, this is due to access issues in the attic. I’m sure there was something we could have done differently but we didn’t and now this is what we have.

2. The wires hanging out of the ceiling are all dead and will be removed.

3. Yes there is a dip in the ceiling, no we did not remove the wall. We do have plans to open up the soffit to see if we need to add more support, but it’s been like this for over 20years.

So, with those bases covered, any recommendations for lights? :)
