Champagne gold or satin nickel cabinet hardware and faucet?

When my kitchen selections were made last year I thought I would go with satin nickel hardware and faucet. Now I have seen some beautiful choices in champagne gold. I have stainless appliances and satin nickel pendants over the island with gold bulbs. The breakfast table chandelier will be be chrome.( I thought it was satin nickel when I ordered it.) Should I stick with satin nickel hardware or go with gold or mix and match? The gold would look amazing with my blue island. The kitchen is in progress. Hood not finished yet and some cabinet doors are still not done but there is enough to get a sense of what it will look like. Backsplash will be white subway tile with accent tile behind the stove. Also need help with the faucet. My husband likes Kohler Tournant. I like Delta Cassidy.

Comments (6)First of all, I don't think there is "a" right. I think you already have both elements in your space. You have a stainless range, so the satin nickel would blend in. You have "dark iron" sconces, so the ORB/black is there also. What color is the dark iron: black, dark grey, bronze/brown? What I am personally doing is satin nickel faucet/soap dispenser and bronze cabinet pulls (on brown stained cabinets). I think that would look nice in your space. You didn't say whether you had already picked your faucet finish or what color your sink is, but that would make a difference, too. Going all satin nickel or all ORB would look good also. I don't think that satin nickel looks "shiny/modern" at all. I do think that chrome or polished nickel wouldn't look as good in your space. Comments (3)I have a chrome faucet and brushed satin pulls. They look fine together. The brushed satin matches the stainless appliances. You can't really see much in any photos. Comments (7)Yes, I think you can mix it. I don't think you would have any problem at all doing that. ....silver is silver. ... is silver. I have a brushed satin double sink, and a shiny Delta faucet....never thought twice about it... It's silver. It works. It's paid for. LOL And your lights are not near your kitchen faucet. I have a ceiling recessed light above my kitchen sink(recessed into over head cabinets that hang down 30 inches from my ceiling)...it only came with a white square frame at the time... I have cut glass ceiling 'salad bowl' style kitchen fixtures, with shiny brass edge and middle mount to match my other ceiling fixtures in my open den. It all works to make light for my family.
