Help! Hardware & lighting-satin nickel vs. polished nickel?

I selected from my cabinet company linear pull hardware in satin nickel. I can’t return it. my Kitchen is shaker, white cabinetry, sea pearl quartzite.
‘My question, for my faucet I was selecting kohler artifacts which comes in SN or polished nickel-which should I get?
#2-Pendant lighting-I am thinking of going with the “nautilus” style Pendants. Not sure what what match best with the satin nickel hardware?
Any thoughts appreciated. i was rushed in my hardware selection and now I feel I should‘ve picked the polished nickel.
‘Thoughts the appearance between satin and polished nickel?
i can’t return it, hate to spend more $, but would rather opt for the right metal tone than wrong.

Comments (5)Our sink fixtures are a mix of satin nickel and brushed SS and they look fine together. Our lights are pewter. Our drawer pulls and door knobs are antique iron. Our pantry door hardware is brushed nickel. They all look fine together. Comments (2)Hello Lisa MacDonald, i don't think the Weathered Nickel would look bad. I like the leaf design on the front it looks very similar to Century Hardware'sHamilton collection. I think that maybe you should pair a mushroom knob with that cup pull. Adding more pictures would probably help everyone get a better idea of the space and what you are trying to do in your kitchen. Comments (21)@Kristin S, not sure but I can certainly ask. I really need a middle ground between the Polished Brass and Satin Nickel. The Polished Brass seems too gold for me and the satinnickel slightly too muted. Hard to tell but is the Top Bronze kind of in between? Going to go online and see the difference. At the end of the day, the pulls are so subtle so maybe I should stop belabouring on this point and I guess I could always just change them out after the fact (although my husband would kill me!!) ... Comments (16)Both the Champagne Bronze Delta faucets and the Brizo stainless steel faucets we bought were above the cost of what you could get a standard faucet for in stainless steel with a traditional design. However, we were able to maximize discounts by shopping online for the lowest prices which sometimes involve a percentage off discount sale since Delta/Brizo and other brands put a cap on how low resellers can advertise the list prices. Also be aware that some faucets being ordered online right now are being delayed weeks out due to lower capacities in manufacturing and shipping delays due to the pandemic. Our faucet order placed last week is projected to arrive in 3 weeks. If cost is a big concern, maybe the polished nickel might be a compromise after all, but again, polished nickel is frequently higher in cost than stainless steel, so if it was the gold/brass color you really wanted, then polished nickel is only getting you halfway to that goal for an increased cost anyway....See MoreRelated Professionals
