I'm thinking about embracing these 'weeds' - would you?
Comments (14)Skibby, you use milkweed in food? I thought it was poisonous. Didn't it kill Abraham Lincoln's mother? I let it go one year and it bloomed late in the year along with the wild ageratum. Wove the two together for a very nice hair wreath for the local Renaissance Festival. I let the trumpet honeysuckle go on the steep bank in front of the house. I tried to landscape it one year and it was quite a comedy. See in your minds eye a fat old woman toppling over as she tries to dig with a spade. See in your minds eye a fat old woman sliding downhill on her butt as she tries to sit and dig with a trowel. See in your minds eye a fat old woman bracing her left foot against the anchored spade she holds with her left hand as she digs with that trowel. See her innocently sitting upright every time a car drives by. Not a juniper nor a daylily to be found from that planting session. I gladly leave the front bank to the weeds....See MoreAre You Thinking What I'm Thinking? Look at this..
Comments (24)Glad to know I am not alone!!! When I opened my Elle Decor magazine, that was the page that I opened to, and I just looked at it and thought "wow". I did send the photo to my old friends in the Andrology lab where I used to work with a nice little note that I was thinking of them. And perhaps they would want to get it for the Chief for Boss's Day. lol...See MoreI'm back with kitchen drawings! What do you think
Comments (15)Good the desk isn't blue. :-) Do you have the overhead Birdseye view of the layout that you could post? The one other thing jumping out at me is that one upper cabinet next to the corner glass to the counter upper. I cannot see due to the angle of the drawing what's happening on the other side of the window (sink side). I think another matching upper on the left side would look balanced, but I cannot tell what's happening there. I think BB has a point about that large fridge freezer unit. It does look to be crowding a bit on that side. But as I said, it might be because the angle is not showing that side....See MoreI’m stumped, what do you think?
Comments (50)I'm more inclined to think animal. It's very consistent with claws. Claws won't make the same depression and they're spaced quite evenly. Second possibility is someone wearing a toolbelt, a big purse or something could have fallen against it too. Or done it intentionally I suppose. Third is vandalism but I don't know when I've seen someone "key" a car vertically so many times. And eliminating keys doesn't stop "keying". There's still knives, bottle openers, purses. Don't see how a door ding could make marks like that. And a cart would be possible if it's loaded and coming down a hill or rammed intentionally, however a cripple cart would have to be rammed into it full bore to make marks like that. Every one I've used would back away before it'd make marks like that. Moot point since you'll never know unless someone admits, witnessed it or you get a video of it from security cameras....See More- 8 years agolast modified: 8 years ago
