Comments (7)Congrats on your home! Your LR is identical to mine. I found the best furniture and tv placement to be as it's pictured here. Only difference is our tv is on the table instead of on the wall. As nice as a fireplace is, it's not always possible or the best solution to have seating facing it(due to angles and shape of room). It can still be a focal point though using art and/or accessories on mantel. Placing a tv over a fireplace can have it's own set of considerations such as damage from heat, soot, picture quality due to angle degradation, and issues with running power. The furniture in this room is well placed for optimal traffic flow....See MoreSectional or Loveseat & Chairs for Narrow Deck
Comments (1)Thanks Tamara! I like the look of the new resin wicker, but I heard that it doesn't do great in wet climates. Although NorCal seems to perpetually be in a drought, we do get rain during the fall/winter months and our deck is so exposed . . wasn't sure how the resin wicker would hold up. We had teak out there before and, even though we did nothing to take care of it, it held up beautifully for 12ish years....See MoreRefurnishing/redecorating living room

Comments (4)My wife loves the idea of of curling up in the corner seat and reading, so we are going for the sectional. Our TV is opposite from the long wall, so we need more seating opposite of that - hence the longer side. I think it will be comfortable with a couple of ottomans even several could watch a movie comfortably... two people on the right arm and ottoman and two people closer to the corner with an ottoman....See MoreManon Floreat
