Comments (2)Red leaves in geraniums can be caused by two deficiencies, as well. Chronic lack of phosphorus AND/OR magnesium is a fairly typical problem with container grown plants that are not fertilized properly. If you are in the habit of fertilizing your plants with an all purpose soluble product (which will contain phosphorus), don't increase what you are doing. Phosphorus is not likely to be the problem in that case. You can add magnesium to your plants by adding a bit of Epsom salts to your water. 1 to 3 tablespoons per gallon of water will do the trick. You will only have to do that a couple of times over the growing season, unless you have a very fast draining planting medium and are in the habit of leaching your plants regularly. This same solution can be sprayed on the leaves, as well. Foliar uptake is pretty fast....See MoreWhat am I doing wrong with my new Geraniums
Comments (3)You may be overfeeding. Ease up on fert and water. It is winter, after all. My pelargoniums barely get watered at all in winter. They just tick over until there’s more light and warmth in the spring....See MoreAloe plant: what is wrong with my aloe plant?
Comments (8)the one in the first picture is rotting. If you're not quick, the rot will spread to the rest of the plant pretty fast. Its usually from over watering. I would take the whole plant out of the soil, check the roots for rot, cut all the rot out with a sterile knife or scissors and let the wounds callus over for about a week. Then repot in fresh soil. After you do that, refrain from watering for at least a week. When you do start watering, only water when soil is completely dry. Aloes are hardy and as long as the rot is gone and its watered less it'll be fine. I had an aloe I didn't water for 2 years once and it was fine, they just go dormant. Much easier to kill one from overwatering than underwatering. Good luck!...See MoreSarah Wolf
