I love the look of the orb. Have one in our Florida condo. I would buy the large in a heartbeat if I could send back for free. That is what I hate about online shopping. You are correct, busybee, the diameter is 29. The height is 35. That includes the crystal. I think having another person look at it with me will help me decide. I am back to thinking that the scale of the larger one is correct. Here is a pic of the room with the current chandelier which is about 25 across/tall. The chandelier looks wimpy in the pic, I think. It is pulled up really high to be out of the way during demo. Big block in room is old fridge getting donated.

Thank you for your vote of confidence! This is a smaller version of the table it will go over and the kitchen is white handle-less upper cabinets and the lower cabinets are walnut with satin brass pulls. The counter top on the peninsula will be a white quartz that will waterfall over the walnut cabinets.

I'm happy you asked! Since you said your table is 60 inches, look for chandeliers between 40 inches (2/3 of the table diameter) and 45 inches (3/4 of the table diameter). Advice from our guide to light sizing

@strategery Interesting. Tile was easy, but we had a great tile showroom with a staff who knew the products and DW had a friend with her to help choose as well. Plumbing fixtures were easy for us for the same reason. We had a great salesperson. We would say oh we like this, but it is too expensive or ornate or whatever. And she would say, Oh then you should look at these 3. And she was right on. Made choosing really easy for us. Not being able to see the lighting in person I think was the bad part. but maybe you're right too. Perhaps its just any individual's personality at play. :)
