Reupholstering Club Chairs - Help Choosing Fabric
Comments (3)Since club chairs are large and take a lot of fabric linen is usually not the best option for wear and tear. But, I would go nuetral on the light side for versitilty later. you can add throw pillows with pattern for color so they will longer and go with anything. Custom slip covers are also an option to consider in a white denim or white/off white canvas fabric that can be washed. Performance Velvet - one that is durable in a lighter tone or a faux suede. A large stripe is fun also in tan and off white. Not sure what the look is you are going for so pics would help of the room. Pottery Barn has lots of nuetral club type chairs for inspiration looks....See MoreI can't find this tapestry to reupholster my chairs.
Comments (1)Have you searched all the online retailers - fabric guru etc.? I think it's going to be very hard if not impossible to find this exact fabric if the chairs are 15 years old. Why don't you look for a new fabric similar, but perhaps you'll find something new you like even better?...See MoreMy new (old) Craigslist $15 chair to re-upholster!

I don't know where it'll eventually go, but I knew I wanted it as a 'project' chair. The 'Horchow chair' is going to have to wait til I practice on ones like this! I am in my local store where I buy most of my fabric quite often, so am always eying what they have for possible combinations for that one....See MoreI need advice on choosing my kitchen flooring please?
Comments (2)A lot of it depends on the style and colors of the home. So if you can, post some pics of the spaces. Tile is fine for the kitchen. As is hardwood. But if your nervous and choose to go with a tile. There are so many options that can work nicely with wood. Again, depends on the style of the space. I always love a checkerboard pattern tile. It’s clean. And matches most everything....See Morebossyvossy
