Refrigerator next to Double Wall Ovens?
Comments (8)Thanks for the quick responses. The island is located behind the fridge/oven wall so I figured I could easily reach across the aisle for a landing space. I am glad to hear that heat should not be an problem but will look into the door opening issue. We are headed to a showroom today. Hopefully, there will be a similar configuration to check out. I was hoping to leave the snack center at the end of this cabinet run so that it is easily accessible to the kids and out of the way. Also, since the space is limited (27"), I was worried about the space between 2 large appliances being "cave like." I want to the counter to be useful for making sandwiches, toasting bread, etc. vs. being a clutter collector. Kate- I plan to post layout pictures again-got lots of my ideas from doing that a few months back. For some reason, photo bucket is not cooperating with me:)...See MorePlacing wall oven next to refrigerator
Comments (5)I have a miele freezer column next to the wall ovens. The only problem is the way the freezer swings out to open. If the wall oven is open, and then the freezer door is opened, closing the oven door scrapes the wood panel on the freezer. Ask me how I know??? I don't think there is a heat/problem issues as both are well insulated. Check the specs....See Morejenn air refrigerator next to electrolux double oven
Comments (7)Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I'd post pictures, but I'm having trouble finding a showroom with the Jenn-Air refrigerator on display. The model is JFC2290 with the Euro handles (REM), or the Pro handles (REP). Either handle would be fine. The ovens I'm considering are the Electrolux EI30EW45PS or the Electrolux Icon E30EW85PPS. I don't need an exact match, just handles that don't look too mismatched! I was hoping someone with the same issue had found a solution :) lindsey - I know many on the appliance forum share your views about finding the best in each category, but my kitchen is fairly small, so I'd like appliances located right next to each other to have at least some visual similarities. My current oven is a Frigidaire Gallery, and it is horrible for baking! My old GE Profile did a much better job at baking....See MoreOpen kitchen, dining and Interior ideas
Comments (25)If you already have the layout figured out, choosing finishes should be easy with the help of a designer. Most kitchen cabinet and countertop stores can help you with their 3D design software. This service is usually free, along with an estimate. It would be best if you could find a good local kitchen showroom that has cabinets and countertops. Although the may not offer appliances, they will be able to advise you on how to choose the right color of appliances based on the cabinet and countertop colors and style you choose. Make sure to take your measurements with you, the layout, and don't forget to take one floor tile with you. Make sure to tell them how much of natural light you have and think about it when deciding on colors....See Moremiss lindsey (She/Her)
