White Kitchen with grey or white quartz?
Comments (4)I've been looking at quarts countertops and really like the swirl patterns that Caeserstone has. London Fog is really pretty. My cabinets are a light wood color, so I think it might be too light for mine (I'm thinking of Dreamy Marfil). I went down to the Caeserstone distribution center today and saw a large slab of both. The London Fog is stunning and would look great with white cabinets....See MoreMSI quartz sample does not match installed counter tops
Comments (23)Yes you're right! So I had the old Carrara marmi and they were getting a new lot in June that would be whiter so I think that ended up being the difference. They said the company switched manufacturers and the whole lot they had received was the off white tone of marmi. It's identical to the first picture! I had no idea there was a new vs old. Luckily they were very helpful and are allowing me to pick out any quartz from the show room and replace it for $300 whichever I choose. I could have gotten the new marmi but I would have to wait until June when it comes in. This felt like a great option to me though as the higher up quartz was not really in my price range at all. So I am happy with that and I got to look through many different styles of white quartz slabs in the warehouse and bring a few home to decide. They are going to replace the whole thing. Now I just have to choose between Cararra Morro and Calacutta Clara!...See MoreQuartz Counter installed doesn't look like sample!!
Comments (35)@Szasta Hi! Did you get the new countertop installed yet? I JUST got back from the stone yard and picked Calacatta Ultra for our new kitchen counters. What you went through was awful and I was scared for a second reading all the posts in the thread but it sounds like yours was a special mistake situation and I am glad they are fixing it for you - and I'm gonna try and not worry about my kitchen counters :))) BTW - I saw the slabs in person and it is STILL difficult to know if it truly the pure white I want. The slab was partially covered in film and was dirty. So annoying. Keeping fingers crossed it all works out. Please post a pic of the corrected stone/countertop if you have had it installed!...See MoreMSI Quartz Luma Luxe Sample vs. Product Installed
Comments (3)I‘m so sorry this happened. I loved Arno as well but after my fabricator ordered the slab- it looked nothing like the sample. Instead of thin and gold it was thick and more brown. At that point i rejected the slab and went with a different company. My fabricator said its been happening way more lately where they look nothing like the sample or photos online. Were you able to see the slab before they cut it?...See Moremillworkman
