We have a few -- in our beach cottage we have several from Overstock, have had them 2 years and they still look great although we don't use the house full time and it is definitely a "no shoes" house. We also had one from Natural Area Rugs at home, and once my two stupid dogs got into a fight, one banged her nose somehow and ended up with a bloody nose ALL over the rug, including the beige edge. DH took the rug outside and actually hosed it down! Figuring we had nothing to lose because the rug was probably ruined. Dried the rug out and it was as good as new! These were all sea grass, not sisal. I'm about to order one for the inside of my front door, I think. I can get away with it only because no one uses our front door -- it's not a high traffic area.

I had some which were similar. My daughter now owns them. They were really nice and easy to keep clean. They were a silk/poly pinched fabric which was lined. Which is what the closeup photo appears to be. I bought them at Tuesday Morning a few years back...so no product name remembered.

All you who have installed The Natural, does the painted bevel bother you? On the sample, I borrowed from the showroom, the painted bevel doesn't blend with the color of the flooring as well as other Provenza LVT in the Moda Line. The bevel stands out and looks like a distinct line. Im about to purchase so Im just curious if this is something you dont see once its installed on a large scale.

If you don't need privacy (is that the neighbor's house out your window or part of your house?) and don't love the shades, what about removing them completely and adding exterior solar shades that you lower with a remote when the sun is shining? The can be installed high up under the eaves and not even show when they aren't in use. You can still see out, but the sun is well blocked.
