We live in a 1997 national home builder neighborhood that had builder-grade single-hung windows. We are making plans to replace our windows and do not know what style home we have to determine a grid layout for the double-hung windows.

For grid patterns, we have been discussing colonial (6x6, 6x1), prairie, craftsman, or no grids. I would pleased with anything other than 6x6, but using our house style and designer input as a guide would be better.

Everyone’s feedback, including what to do with that front door, would be appreciated. We plan on putting an order for the windows on Tuesday.
