Is there any brown in MSI Calcutta Laza?
I'm looking for a marble-like quartz which has a little hint of brown to tie in to my light maple cabinets. I'm leaving my white/gray kitchen (goodbye Revere Pewter) and have a new place with mostly tans, khakis and whites. While I'm enjoying the challenge of moving back to the warmer side of neutrals, I'm having a hard time with the counter top. Any other options at the lower end of the price scale?
FYI - Going with stainless steal appliances, stainless steal apron sink, school house clear glass semi-flush light fixture, white herringbone back splash and the half wall will come down so we have a larger continuous surface with counter stools.

Comments (32)I really do need the extra storage! I think if it's 42" from the sink that it will greatly enhance my work zone adding so much additional counter space. I would only put stools where the one is in the photo and where the window is, so out of the work zone. Where that stool is now would be a 36" cabinet that I could store items that are used infrequently. The sink side would be for the kitchen aid, vitamix, cuisinart, juicer and cutting boards etc. My cabinets are still in really good condition and are maple. I thought staining them dark would be too much darkness so my only other option is to paint them or replace them. Comments (3)I do not see the advantage of opening that wall it looks odd to me and galley kitchens are honestly one of the easiest to work in. I also can’t see the herring bone in the space I would choose a simple gray porcelan 12 x 24tile and use the conter top for the backsplash all the way to the bottom of the cabinets. LMP design Don’t mind the flooring underneath lol this is big change Reno .. these are the colors. I have big windows on the one side that are covered up right now ... except one window.. and I know phone photos become different.. but this it a sample of laza with my colors
