Accent Wall/Master Bedroom Color help!
Comments (3)Check out the gallery on this forum - it has lots of pictures of paint colors with names. What color is your bedding/curtains/furniture?? Can you post a picture? My main floor is all open, so we did a couple of accent walls. The main color is a neutral golden yellow and the two accents we chose were a mossy green and a deeper red....See MoreMaster Bedroom guidance needed
Comments (25)It's good to see my cedar chest isn't an only child. LOL! I really appreciate all the input so far. I am hoping the samples will come in this week. I really want to start the headboard project since DH hates our current one for leaning against it while watching TV. I'm not sure it's the colors in the guest room as much as it's the room on a whole being close to completed. This is the guest room before I swapped rooms with the exercise room. http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/decor/msg0816385814947.html?31 I still need to repaint the new room but that's another post....See Morefeature/accent walls in master bedroom... In or Out?
Comments (9)in or out only matters if you are 1. getting ready to sell 2. trying to impress a sister in law. that said, i think they are most effective when they have no openings or symmetric openings with the bed centered. otherwise you'd just be highlighting an awkward wall....See MoreHelp finish master bedroom...window coverings, rug?, art, accents
Comments (16)Thanks @loobab! That bedding has turned out to be perfect in every way. It has become the inspiration for the whole house color palette. As often happens with decorating projects, I now have a new problem to solve. I have no place to put all those decorative pillows at night. There’s no other furniture in the room besides the bed and nightstands. Adding a bench at the foot of the bed seems silly with all that space on the sides to work with. A chair would be nice, but what else to put with it? I don’t need or want a dresser. And we don’t watch tv in that room, so a media console isn’t relevant. I fear just plopping a chair in one corner won’t be enough. Please help!...See MoreEmily Rode
