My kitchen is Alabaster and it is pretty. We are doing an addition and will do some shiplap/drywall also painted Alabaster. My trim is brighter white because I like to layer whites, but you definitely could paint it all one color. You should also look at Mindful Grey. I'm getting ready to do the rest of my living areas that color.

I'm painting the whole interior of my house in a warm white with bright white trim and doors. I'm using decorations, such as artwork, to bring color into the space. I chose warm white to go with the beech-color laminate floors as well as blend with the cream plastic plantation blinds that were already installed throughout the house. I use different colored bulbs in different areas of the house to create different effects. The bulbs in the kitchen are brighter work for work light, the bulbs in the hallway are warmer. Don't know if this helps you or not, but it's working for me.

Alabaster is good, but I would contrast the trim and doors with Super White & Ceiling White for ceilings.

I am debating whether to do the trim and ceiling a different color but I do love the softness that comes with doing it all in one color.

It would be a neutral with an undertone that works with the undertones of the permanent fixed elements (e.g., hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, counter tops, stained or painted case goods, etc.).

If choosing whites, you need to be aware that the ones you'd primarily paint your walls reside on a spectrum from coolest to warmest: blue-white, true white, off-white, and creams. If you gravitate toward earthy, muted colors you stick to the warm end of the spectrum. If bright, clean vibrant colors speak to you, stay on the cooler end.

I forgot to add that I found plain flat white ceiling paint looks best on both my vaulted and regular (9 foot high) ceilings.

I painted my whole first floor SW Alabaster. I painted the trim the same as well. It looks clean

I painted the entire interior of my 2000 sq ft home BM Palace White, using a different sheens for the walls, ceilings, crown, and trims. Looks amazing and feels so good and clean.

my beach house is all BM atrium white, it has a warm undertone which some would say is 'pink' but i don't find it to be so. casing and baseboards all the same. we have a lot of art, and use the house in the summer, mostly, so white works. i wouldnt want it in my residence tho, it feels cold in winter.

I just painted everything in my new house SW Alabaster- kitchen cabinets, trim, doors, and walls. oh and the Exterior siding too. I love it.

I thought I needed a little "color" so I painted the living room & kitchen/family room BM Muslin, a light tan. I like it well enough, but I should have just left it all Alabaster. We haven't moved in yet but I love the rooms with all Alabaster more than the muslin painted ones.

I figure once I get all my stuff in there it won't be so white. And each room has its own white too since they all have different sunlight.
