Need help picking shutter, garage door and front door colors!!
Comments (6)This is a recommended color from SW for Mindful Gray…homburg gray. I would do this on the shutters and the garage doors and leave the wood door as is. The two middle windows shouldn’t have shutters as the won’t fit appropriately, but you are not painting the siding and the darker outlines of the shutters will show if you don’t replace what was there. Personally, would like the house with out shutters and would probably paint the siding and garage doors and have no shutters at all....See MoreNeed Help with deck color, front door style & color and stone color
Comments (12)Agreeable Gray by sherwin williams is actually the color I would suggest! I like Pure white for the trim. For the rest of this, I am going to make a list of suggestions. tile: Baja Tecate (12x24) with sahara beige grout (matches agreeable gray wonderfully) carpet: ride it out -whisper (shaw floors) stain- weathered wood. It's a gray stain. I would do a heavy stain on shaker style cabinets. (I know you're wanting white, but this is just for thought). perhaps bathroom cabinets? cabinetry hardware: Remington with barpull hardware (something like Hickory Hardware Bar Pull in stainless steel finish) They're very clean looking, and I love having actual handles instead of the little knobs on cabinets. countertops (kitchen): viatera quarts- cirrus backsplash: Nove Hex- Steel Mix with frost grout kitchen sink: siligranite- single bowl -anthracite black (I LOVE the single bowl sinks) bathroom vanity tops and showers: gray swirl (I don't have more information on this at the moment, but I can post pictures of what I am referring to) for lighting, door knobs, faucets, etc: keep things brushed nickel and chrome...See MoreColorful front door help!
Comments (6)Thanks! I only worry a deeper color will look even darker under the porch. I want it to pop!...See MoreMatch front door color to the flowers themselves, not the pots?
Comments (2)I like that idea a lot! It reminds me of a house near me that is a cartoon house. It's a mustard yellow with barn red shutters and door and it has matching plants, always blooming in the same yellow and red. It's ridiculously happy. We do have the advantage of year-round flowering here. Are impatiens long-lasting enough to make it worth while? Actually your color combo looks nice enough to work without flowers, but that extra touch part of the year would be really nice. I agree to be sure of your pink though!...See Morephuninthesun
