Stair runner/area rug in multi level house
Comments (11)Having such a hard time deciding between these 2 runners. It's a wool carpet like memo suggested. I feel safe with the lighter one (meaning I wont get tired of) but worry about the light color getting dirty. And the burgundy I love but worry I might get tired of. Do you think the lighter blends in with my steps too much? Ugh I'm so bad at making decisions....See MoreWhat type of rug (e.g. runner, area, runner plus entry mat) is best?
Comments (0)We are building a home with a foyer that is 17.5 feet long and 8.5 feet wide with 11 foot tray ceiling running the same length. We want a runner but wonder if we should save room for an entry mat at the double front doors. Also, we don't know how wide or long the runner should be, whether WITH an entry mat or WITHOUT one. Thanks in advance....See MoreSmall Living Room - Area Rug or Carpet Runner?
Comments (1)This is a 7' x 7' area rug. Another trick is to replace your window treatments and rod. Install a new rod, higher and wall to wall. Area rugs fix you to a space but when you don't have one it feels more flexible and open. I love the color of your floor and I think that's the star that can showcase an ever changing table top decor. Have fun with it because you're bringing in black chairs, taking out the only color you have which is the artwork. You need color do it with the table....See Moreaimeep81
