New Season of Project Runway Tonight!
Comments (86)Yeah, Michael really dropped the ball. Laura's collection was better than I was expecting--more variety with her look than I was led to believe. Uli's was fine I guess. Michael's? Some stuff kind of was pretty. I dunno. It was just a very disappointing experience. Don't know if I'll bother with next season. They're getting too close to jumping the shark. I hope Laura goes on to greater things or at least gets her stuff out there. Given an infinite amount of free time I'd like to go through the season and tally up the number of times people were criticized for making something that didn't look like "them" and the number of times they were criticized for making something that looked "predictable." But then I guess when you sign up for a "reality" show you're pretty much asking to be jerked around....See MoreSurvivor tonight - Anyone need reminding?
Comments (14)I felt sorry for Jason, Natalie really had it in for him and wasn't ashamed to show it, to the camera at least. She didn't come off looking too nice, either, calling him a "bi&ch" I thought that was really tacky and rude. I wondered why James didn't tell Jason to play the idol, but if he had, James would have gotten the vote to leave, so I guess that's why. Ozzie looks furious. Did I see him flip everyone off when he first walked in? He had his back to the camera at that point. I think they blurred it out, but it looked like it to me. I loved how James let Ozzie know that Parvati was the one who masterminded Ozzie's demise. That was great. Now the jury has 3 people on it that won't vote for Parvati or Natalie, or probably any one of the women. I hope James or Eric win all the next challenges and find another HI Idol. And how stupid was Parvati to tell James, she wants all girl finish? She talks too much....See MoreWomen Pool Owners???
Comments (16)I do all the maintainance myself also. Very easy with a salt system. Hubby comes in handy when filter cleaning time. I am only 5'1" and the cartridge filter is almost as tall as I am. He opens it up. I clean. He puts back together. I only add stabilizer about once a year, a bag of salt every other year, and acid to bring down the Ph 2 times a week in the summer. My acid comes in 1 gallon jugs/ 2 to a box, very easy to carry. Filter cleaning about 3 times a year and I clean the salt cell when ever needed. He comes in handy when pieces parts need replaced. Needed a new salt cell housing, and had the pool pump rebuilt. He also installed a drip system for the landscaping (I did all the planting). He is very handy as he was raised on a farm and is now an engineer. He is NOT a pool person at all. I just remind him the pool was cheaper than the 5 trucks HE has purchased in the past 20 years LOL. You can do it easily. What you can't do or hubby won't do, just call your local independent pool store....See MoreOT, but an important reminder
Comments (21)Holy cow, I'm so thankful you're okay! I agree with the poster that said to check around the neighborhoods, to see if you're stuff is pitched somewhere. You're right, the joke's on him. We had motion detector lighting installed 12 years ago. My husband heard noises outside, picked up his rifle and went outside - scared two teenaged girls who had decided to TP (etc) our yard. Despite his leg in a cast, he "chased" them up the street and watched what house they went into. He came inside, got me out of bed and told me what happened. I dressed and together, the two of us went up the street (him on crutches!) to the house - I knew the mom, she was a Girl Scout mom. The parents answered the door, we explained why we were there, the girls were called down. The next day, the two girls came down to the house, cleaned the entire yard for us, and later on, brought us a plate of cookies in apology. One question I asked the girls, "Why did you pick on OUR house?" The one said, "It was the darkest outside." We got motion detector lights that year. DonnaR/CA...See Morededtired
