I'm not in So Cal, but I did just have our pool done with Midnight Blue Stone Scapes Mini's with Tahoe Blue Plaster. It's alittle darker then the Tahoe Blue which was the look we were going for and it came out perfect. We have not been in the pool yet other then on the tanning ledge some and it feels nice and smooth. Will get a picture up tomorrow when I am back at the house.

My brand new liner is called Midnight Blue Glimmerglass. I love it! I don't think it's too dark. This was taken after the sun was half off of it.

I dont have pictures, but I have seen the black marble in a friends pool. And there are countless pictures of Tahoe Blue (since that is their most popular color). Tahoe blue looks very nice in bright sunlit back yards, there is no doubt its a very pretty color. However, I personally perfer the Black Marble, it looks very natural and soothing. You should ask yourself- when I close my eyes and picture the most relaxing body of water- what is it? If you think a river, lake or cool spring then Black Marble would be a great choice. If you think of more beach-like settings then Tahoe Blue is a good choice. Have you considered Midnight blue? Its still blue but darker,so its kind of in between your two colors. Thanks for the feedback. Amazing that these finishes are the same price in some places. Here in MA, my PB wants an extra $5k for the ocean blue sheen over the cost to do the pool (20 x 40) in midnight blue PT.
