What should I put here?
Comments (11)You could put the two pieces of art you have in a vertical line to the right of the cabinets, but I'm not sure anything is needed there. I'd first remove that light and cover the outlet with a larger piece of artwork. Install under-counter lighting to replace of the existing light and run a piece of trim along the bottom edge of the overhead cabs to hide the under-counter lighting. If you go with one large piece of art over the sink consider running a piece of wood trim along the outer edge of the opening. It could butt against the top trim and stop where the ledge trim is. Then the coffee cup art could be hung elsewhere. I would go crazy with a light in my face while I'm at the sink!...See MoreWhat plants should I put here?
Comments (12)I'd probably pair with white but many folks like pink or red. If there's an orange, I'd like that as well. They would both be spring bloomers and then green all summer, though different shades of green and the VGB might throw out a few flowers. If you want summer blooms, look at some of the smaller Hydrangea paniculata types such as Bobo or Little Quickfire. We still don't know just where you are, so be sure you live in an area with acid, moist but not wet soil since azaleas need that....See Morehelp! what should I put here?
Comments (11)If you don’t need a place to set a coffee mug/ book/etc on a side table there, I’d do a floor lamp. If you’d like a place to set a drink or something while sitting there, I’d go for a complimentary table with a table lamp. Agreed with others, it does not need to match the coffee table, in fact - I personally find I like rooms that aren’t perfectly matched the best!! Something black/wood that compliments the coffee table would be perfect! (In my phone so I can’t see it now- but someone posted a table that doesn’t have the four legs- it kind of hangs off one side - I LOVE that one for your space!!)...See MoreWhat should I put here?
Comments (20)Think of it as a functional space, not just a space for accessories. Large bowls are a good idea, or pitchers. Anything fairly large that you use and can easily pull out when needed. You could also look for baskets that fit the shelves so you could use it for smaller items like placements and napkins....See MoreSnaggy
