Comments (18)I like Housegal200’s ideas. Woven shades on the two tall skinny windows and then curtains on the other windows (but mounted as high as they can go with the fabric just touching the floor). You didn’t ask for other info, but if I may offer an opinion...I think if I were you I would get rid of the ceiling fan and replace the fireplace surround. They are giving the space a very ‘80’s feel. Have you considered expanding the wood floor into the space and getting an area rug?...See MoreWindow seat drape/curtain dilemma! Please help!
Comments (4)Thank you so much for weighing in! The window seats will be on each side of the TV wall under the windows shown in the above picture. :) So, other than the picture window on the far left (shown in original post) there are no other small windows with panels. This said, you have helped me so much! I will do cornices over the three small windows to match the material for the picture window decorative panels!! Phew!! I am so glad I came here to ask because I was about to finalize a quote for these panels that clearly would have been all wrong! Also going to make sure panels anywhere in house reach the floor since I just learned my 1” above floor is too short. Haha...See Morecolor curtain dilemma
Comments (7)You don't need a rug in that space. I love your gold wallpaper. I'm wondering if you need drapes at all? Can you post more photos of the whole window? Do you have sun or privacy concerns? If you stick with drapes, I would choose solid white ones....See Morepalimpsest
