Thanks for the picture persnickety, looks like that would have been a good choice....:) Or perhaps the color one up, but DH wanted paint tonight and had not seen your picture yet so I went with 'chopstick' because it was a little lighter and we were doing the ceiling the same as the walls. It is a bit on the yellow side but a nice color. I love it but DH doesn't feel yellow is too much of a garage color! But we are painting the outside of the house a yellow/tan color so it will blend when the door is up at least! LOL! Thanks for sharing your pictures they are really helping me to visualize what the colors look like IRL vs the little chips. It is so convenient that you have used colors we are considering, how thoughtful of you! ;)

Thanks, yes he does prefer it. I am willing to try something new in terms of paint as long as it has the coverage and durability of the BM paint I picked. He is professional and I do not want to insult him. I just do not want an inferior paint. He was hired by contractor and called site manager before purchase of the paint, so he chose the DE paint but he checked it with site supervisor. So I am asking whether this paint is okay or do I insist on BM? Sounds like from your response I am okay!

Sultry, thanks for the suggestions! I routinely make collages before planting. It’s almost as much fun to come up with the pretty combos as to actually have the garden. :) I was just having a hard time getting Bees Jubilee to look good in one. Daniela suggested white, which ironically I hadn’t tried yet, and it’s lovely! Also gardengal’s suggestion of striking foliage is a great one. Gardengal, I love the foliage suggestion. I think after playing with it, I prefer chartreuse rather than red/purple tones, but it is a great idea! Daniela, I also have Iceberg, and after your suggestion I tried the two together and it’s beautiful! Thanks! Not sure how I missed such a basic idea. Lol. flowers, I love that Niobe (or such) pic! It really is beautiful. I am short on clematis of such color atm, but have some coming! The lavender pic is loveky, also, and I thought that blue/purple went with everything, but for whatever reason the particular shades of Ramona and BJ together did not appeal to me whatsoever. Maybe I should play with some different shades of blue.

I read somewhere years ago that Woodlawn Blue is what Suzanne Kasler uses and thought "If it's good enough for Suzanne, it's good enough for me!" What do you recommend? We have Palladian Blue on our front porch and it barely registers as a color in the bright sunlight.
