"Chrome OS is free, there's no product key." What? How confusing this is to me. All of the refurbished say "OS installed" but some say "OS Licence Key" missing. Anyhow I ended up ordering one that included the OS Licence key for $165.00 including tax and S&H. I won't know if it will come with the free 100 gb google drive or the 12 free in-flight passes until I fire it up. Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I got it from cowboom.com which is a Best Buy company so returning it should be no problem. I am obsessed with cowboom.com, and pleased with all the purchases I have made with them in the past. These are the items people trade in or return to Best Buy that they fix up and sell. Products and prices change all day long so you have to research and then be ready to jump when the item becomes available. I have a similar rug - the Karastan Kirman and I pulled out the light rose shades for my bedroom. Your rug has so many soft colors you could pull from there - the most obvious are the pale green but I also see beige, cream and rose. It's a beautiful rug and is obviously more of a visual presence than a beige rug but why wouldn't you want some kind of visual interest in a room anyway?

Audiophiles are indeed particular souls, and with good reason. The equipment is an investment, and when you start looking at the uber high-end brands, there's no comparing it to even one of the better lines such as Bose. No idea what brand of equipment your hubby owns, but he values it and that's all that matters. I agree with the suggestion to simply get a larger console to tuck away as many of the components as appropriately fit, but I would not fret the fact that there are speakers on the floor. I think we tend to get a bit obsessive over having our homes picture-perfect, when the reality is that we share them with others who have a host of interests and tastes, and they too should have a say in what goes into a room. Besides, those speakers are not at all obtrusive IMO. (You want obtrusive? These ginormous, tall corner pieces are very similar to my father's Klipsch horns. They currently sell for just under $15k. This is not your Bose sound. ;-))

I feel like I wrote this post! Ha! We just did the same thing in my husbands office. He does have high ceilings but walls were bland and he wanted moody green. We used SW 6475 Country Squire and are so happy with it. We did the trim in a bright white and all frames on the wall black to match the desk/chair. Got a light rug from rugs USA. I will post some pictures if it helps you to visualize your room. (We haven’t done anything on the windows yet).
