Thanks, guys! And the fun part of it is, my latest setup still has the squirrels confused, though I'm sure they'll figure it out soon enough. Maureen, I adore fox squirrels. We had some at the golf course about 2 blocks from where I live, but I haven't seen any of them for months now. I fear they may have been hit by passing cars. (Or golf balls? Eeek.) The only thing I didn't see from my garden today was the shuttle...too overcast. I tried and tried, but couldn't even catch a glimpse between the clouds! Marcia

They say it is weatherproof. I left it out one night when we had a light rain (didn't mean to). It did no harm, but the glass cover over the lens was wet so any pics would have been blurred. I concur on the blue-headed vireo and the phoebe but not the tennessee warbler. Tennessee warbler would not have the streaking on the breast, the undertail coverts are white and their eyebrow streak is less obvious. So I'm going with a palm warbler - the dark eye-line, pale eyebrow, plain wings, long tail, brightest yellow on undertail coverts are all field marks for the palm warbler. I've not seen a palm warbler so my id is based on process of elimination of warblers that I have seen (and I have seen lots of tennessee warlbers) and my sibleys guide! But I could be talked out of it too !
