Anyone know about diamond rings?
Comments (34)Hi daisy! I’m a jeweler- my family hand makes and designs everything we sell. We do A LOT of custom resets just like yours. A few things: A bezel setting is super secure and very easy to wear, it doesn’t catch! When done properly, I.e. trimmed back, it does not affect the performance of the diamond. A stock setting, like the first you posted, will generally be the most affordable option over a truly custom piece, but it has to be available for the diamonds you have. White flash is a very reputable company that will customize that design for your exact stones, but not every jeweler is capable of customizing a stock setting or doing it particularly well. whether you go with a stock setting or a custom setting, ask for details and look for a company that will be able to show you a CAD rendering or a 3D wax model (or the components of your stock setting) before it’s in metal and set. Too many people come to us because what they received as a finished product wasn’t anything like what they envisioned, but there were no intermediate steps for them to approve along the way. There are literally thousand of designs or ways to set three stones, a good designer will be able to take a collection of photos you bring them and pick out the common elements and themes to design you something you will love and that works for your stones. Resetting the diamonds is such a lovely way to remember family members and enjoy them yourself! If you have any questions about the process or specific metals or anything I’m happy to help!...See MoreRoyal Watchers
Comments (109)Her being bi-racial is a non-event in the UK. It may become more so if their progeny end up being far darker than Meghan, something that can happen. But in the UK, race is just not the issues it can still be in the US. Harry is a VERY wealthy young man, worth between 25 and 40 million pounds! Diana got 17.5 million pounds in her divorce. Sarah Ferguson, like Diana, lost the HRH part of her title, but is still a Duchess - so would Meghan be if she and Harry divorced. This is a no-lose situation for Meghan; Harry could lose a LOT of money if it doesn't work out. I have no idea if Meghan is "using" Harry or if he is using her. They probably don't either, as they are in the throes of love/hormones singing to each other. But if the marriage ends, it will be Meghan who is the winner for certain....See MoreRoyal Wedding Thread
Comments (107)I thought it was just lovely! Everything! Her dress was perfection, gorgeous natural make up, adoring, handsome groom, proud mama, flowers for days, glorious sunny day...and Bishop Curry!! They keep saying he is from Chicago...but he lives in NC and before becoming the head of the entire Episcopal church in the US, he was the bishop for NC!! He confirmed my son! We LOVED every time he visited our parish...all his sermons are that exciting. You never get sleepy when he preaches! :) Honestly, the only thing I didn’t care for were the black Page boy outfits...seemed a harsh color for children. But that’s it! Loved everything else!...See MoreChristmas and Doria Ragland
Comments (12)I was searching for an old topic on Christmas gift wrap and saw this. Supposedly Harry and Meghan are supposed to spend Christmas with her mom in CA which is the normal thing to do with married couples, taking turns with each family. However, the Queen is 93 and Prince Phillip, 98. Knowing Doria would be more than welcome to spend the holiday with the Queen and family, there is no way I'd go to CA simply because this possibly could be the last Christmas for either the Queen or Phillip. Besides, who wants to go to CA when you can go to Scotland? lol...See More- 8 years ago
