Thats not the sun- leaves should have burn marks and be dry. Rot more likely.

I pulled up this plant and the roots are healthy and so is the stem. The discoloration starts at the edges of the leaves because I pulled off some of the worse leaves, and I've had this happen with other sunburned succulents of mine in the past.

Cant really say. Thats how sunburn manifests in my echeveria, sempervivum, and sedum. I own one of these, and ive had issue rooting it(bare root shipped, root was damaged).

It was outside for 2 days and the area it's in gets shade by 1pm. The stem isn't soft but the damaged leaves are. I'm not sure what this is since it wasn't labeled, but it could be Graptoveria 'Silver Star' (it had two pups growing off w/their own stem).

Just the part of the leaves that were showing are damaged.

Grow lights are no substitute for sunlight. While plants can grow perfectly fine under lights, the sun emits a far broader spectrum of electromagnetic wavelengths. Not only does it give off visible light, it also gives off infrared and ultraviolet radiation as well. The ultraviolet rays are what cause a plant's leaves to get sunburned, just like it does with us and our skin. This is what sunscreen blocks. When you feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, this is the infrared. Plants that can tolerate direct sun are usually already acclimated to it when they've been grown outside and exposed to it. When plants are raised indoors, they haven't built up this natural protection to these UV rays. This is why, when we move our plants outdoors, we have to do so gradually. This gives our plants the time they need to adjust to receiving these intense rays, no matter how much artificial light they've been grown in prior to this.
