Heat Pump wont turn off despite new thermostat, wires, and contactor

The issue is that ever since we had the control board (CB401) replaced on our water source heat pump, the system will not turn off once the thermostat hits the set temp. So far I have replaced a relatively new thermostat with another brand new thermostat, I have run completely new thermostat wire from the thermostat to the air handler, and lastly I just replaced the compressor contactor.

Unfortunately none of these repairs (which are the 3 most likely solutions to this problem) have fixed the issue. The system seems to completely ignore the thermostat settings when it comes time to shut itself off.

Strangely it does seem to turn itself ON in reaction to the set temp on the thermostat, but it won’t shut OFF until it is several degrees below the set temp, so we are having a hugely frustrating time trying to figure this out. Any help you could offer would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Jay
