Just wondering- did the friend work at the Ford dealership? My husband, who passed away 5 yrs ago, worked there many years ago. This is the first time I bought a vehicle myself and I went there because I know a lot of the employees.

Brushworks, I have fond connections to Cambridge Springs. When my Mother came to the age. she was placed in the Presbyterian Home in Cambridge Springs. Perhaps you saw Rose's post some time ago that the Riverside Inn burned to the ground. What a heart breaker that was. We had many family dinners there and a class reunion there in addition to weddings such as Rose had.

Rose, my friend worked with your husband at the phone company. He was the first one to sign the online obituary page at goerie.com.

One of my older sisters attended school with your brother in law, Mike. He built a great stereo coffee table in shop class and had it displayed at the front of the school entrance. The record he had playing was :"You Were on My Mind" by We Five. I will never forget hearing that song resonate through the school halls.

My late brother taught at a college in or near Edinboro many years ago and my late husband still has relatives in Albion.

I remember the Riverside Inn. We spent many weekends (late 80's) fishing the waters of French Creek and other tributaries. I didn't know about the fire until now.

Satine, Edinboro is home to Edinboro University, Prior to that it was Edinboro State College. The change took place in the mid 70's I believe. It is very possible this is where your brother taught. Did he live in Edinboro at the time? I am sorry for your loss.

When I see a post from Dances, cherryfizz or monica pa, I get a warm feeling in my heart, for my first gathering of KT folks was several years ago at Dances home. There were some others, too, that I don't remember ... but it was almost cancelled, due to some cancellations: glad we didn't - I think that I was one of the ones who said, "Let's have it, anyway".

Arjay, yes it was in the early 70s that my brother taught and lived in Edinboro. He and his wife moved from there to be closer to our parents in Ohio. He then taught at Youngstown State until his death about 10 years ago.

Yep. I graduated from Edinboro State College, more years ago than I care to admit. I was born and raised about 20 minutes north of there and still live nearby.

There is a beautiful big property next to 79 with a huge fountain between Erie and Edinboro. Is that a family compound? It looks like they linked 2 houses into 1. It should be over 10,000 sq ft......,,do you guys know that property? It’s beautiful.
