Lighting Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Bathroom tiles and lighting ideas please

Need ideas on shower feature wall pleasE. Do not want marble since I do not want to have to seal all the time. Flooring tile beloW.

Lighting ideas for vanity? Below repurposed furniture will be used for 2 vessel sinks in white with chrome wall fixtures. Will be placed to left of showe in recessed area. Thinking of sconses on either side of Mirror. 2 mirrors or 1 Over sinks? Ideas For mirror(s) and lighting please.

Chandelier? Yes no? What type?

Thinking of marble subway wainscotting below for vanity area and around toilet. Or should we do color sheet rock. What color? Also thinking of glass shower feature wall for 4’3’ shower wall. Color Ideas? Other showe walls? White ceramic?

Sumod- The medicine cabinets are simple wood frames with a cabinet-grade plywood back that just sit in the stud cavity. Because of the dimensions, the front of the frame projects about 1"+ beyond the finished wall. The medicine cabinet doors are also plywood with veneered edges and they are attached to the frame with standard cabinet hinges (Euro hinges). The mirrors are just 1/4" plate glass ordered to size from a glass shop and held in place with mirror mastic and a metal strip at the bottom that you don't really see. The guy who did the cabinets just made the medicine cabinets as part of the job. I don't know about the door brand...we live in a large metro area that has lots of door shops and the doors are just solid core maple doors with the center cut out and a maple panel held in with molding. They're not stained; they simply have a couple coats of clear spray lacquer.

So far I like the The sets made by delta, I'm leaning toward a chrome finish because its an easier match but using the bronze would be awesome if I could figure out how to make it work. " light grout that is impossible to keep clean " A bath used by males is best with epoxy grout. The Pro tiler needs to have experience using this type of grout. I have it in my baths...it is impervious to any stain / dirt.

Any ideas on how to paint dated bathroom tiles? Half walls? Colours?

I would paint all the wall tile white, then the wall above the tile and the ceiling all the same color - I think a light blue/green color would have a nice spa feel. We painted our kids bathtub and tile surround with marine paint (made for painting boats) and it has held up really nice so far.

Yes I was thinking of Gold tile on floor in a 4 by 6’ rug design with marble boarder. Shower either grey subway or white subway On 3 walls and ceiling. Penny tiles on shower floor in bronze perhaps.

Instead of subway marble boarder use 12x 12” tiles in marble for boarder. If this is not a good tile please suggest others. :)

I'd try a less distinctive tile, imo. A more neutral tile is good if room will have other tile [in shower, etc.] ??

Going with white subway tile in shower with penny tiles on floor in shower. Do you think the rug design in frot of the modified vanity with marble top is too much? Thank you!

Rug design is with the fancy tile. Or should I just do marble only flooring in large slabs 12 by 24? Walls are painted so no tile on walls.
