I am so glad I read this! I just got a "bonus" miracle cloth with a vapor cleaner, and am planning on buying more asap--finally I see what all the hype is about, they're wonderful. But I didn't read any care instructions and my instinct would have been to wash it with the towels because it looks like a towel.

I work in a high-tech company where most everyone is in their 20s and 30s. I'm a good 15 years older than anyone in my graphics team, including my manager. Ouch. As such, I really try not to dress in anything that might draw attention to my age. I try to be current without being trendy. And because I work closely with the officers and upper management of the company I have to look professional at all times. This means sensible tops, jackets, jewelry, slacks and pumps except on Casual Fridays when I wear a nice pair of jeans and a sweater or comfortable top. T-shirts are not allowed in our group, even though we are considered the "artsy, creative" kind who often throw caution to the wind when it comes to fashion. Jodi-

I have altered dress pants for myself and my husband. My mom helped me make my prom dress and my wedding dress. My mother in law was kind enough to hem a bridesmaid dress for me when I was 8 months pregnant. It looks quite comical now, like a reverse train! I have also sewn dresses for my daughter's and myself but I've never used a store pattern. I'm very grateful that my mom taught me to sew and I've never needed to visit a tailor.
